  2. What a wonderful landing area for Santa and his reindeer. It's cold here, too, but not THAT cold. The happiest of holidays to you and yours, Marie. :-)

  7. An excellent place for them to land. If it freezes good enough, when it finally gets warmer towards spring, you will sometimes be able to hear the ice breaking. It's an amazing sound. I called the sound ice quakes years ago when I discovered it happening at a place I visited. I was on a dock, and I could feel it as well as hear it.

  10. Oh how beautiful.
Thank you so much. Santa has reached us, and I suspect will need to change out of his bathing suit before he heads back to you - but I know he will appreciate the landing strip.
A very healthy and happy Christmas and New Year to you and yours.

We have the air conditioning on here....
I will finish wrapping one last gift, and then I will call it a night.

    1. Christmas with air conditioning would be strange to us! Though it would be a nice break from the cold, Jackie.

  14. Happy Holidays, Marie!
Santa had a smooth landing, I am sure!
Since it is one hour earlier here, Santa will be arriving very soon. It has been snowing for more than 6 hours now... He will be in his milieu. : ))
