The prose of a tree trunk

When the leaves are gone, tree trunks are exposed and beautiful!

They grow to the sky in their own unique ways.

Each has a story

we can read at our leisure!

Lovely. We are both tree huggers, it seems. :-)

Yes, naked trees are quite lovely.

Could make for an interesting series of macros, I suppose.

I have always loved the elegance of the lacy filigree of bare trees reaching for the sky. A different beauty to their leafy selves, but the beauty is definitely still there.

To be honest, Marie, I most love trees when I see their skeletons...for some strange reason. For one thing, when we travel, you can SEE so much more when there are no leaves on the trees. But the trees themselves totally fascinate me...exactly because of what you have shown here in this post!
