We are having an unusual white Christmas with frigid temperatures coming in later today. VERY cold period ahead! Thank you for all your posts, very much appreciated by many (including me). :-)
Hi Marie, It has been a real pleasure following your blog this last year. Your photography is excellent and you are a great writer. I'm looking forward to Island Musings in 2022. Thank you for sharing and for your kind comments on my blog. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Best regards from Seattle! John PS So far (10:30am) it's a green Christmas for us too. However a Winter Storm Warning is in effect starting this afternoon. So we may end up with some white later on this Christmas day. :-)
Hello Marie Merry Christmas to you and your family in that faraway land. No white Christmas for us either, it was sunny and warm for here in Melbourne (Boxing Day morning now) so BBQ lunch outside was the order of the day...same again today. I've been lax in commenting this past year but have thoroughly enjoyed reading Island Musing, your walks and tales about PEI are reminders of the many trips we have taken to Nfld and the Maritimes.
That's a beautiful photo, regardless of what you have on the day. We have freezing rain, oh goody. Hope your day was as fine as ours ... inside. Best wishes for a fine new year.
Hello Marie. I sent a message via your blog email but not sure if you would have go it. Anyway, I hope your day was special and that the New Year will be filled with only good health, a return to normality and the happiness of family and nature.
I am late seeing this...I hope your Christmas day went well. I think 2010 was the last time we had a white Christmas...according to the weatherman. We had a warm day here.
Wishing you and your Hubby the very best too. Especially having a Green Christmas. We have had buckets of rain here in the valley and heavy snow in our mountains. Happy for the good snow pack as it means there is a good chance that our drought will be over finally. Sue

I hope you have a wonderful celebration. Wish you peace and happiness!
Happy Boxing Day!
We have little snow, but it is cold...
So it is the beginning of Deep Winter, to me.
And yes, I welcome it. -smile-

File photo or not, it is absolutely gorgeous! I hope that you and the family had a very Merry Christmas. Here’s hoping for normality in 2022.
Must be strange with Christmas time still being green. Still, I hope you and your family are having a safe and happy holiday season :) xx
I hope that you had a good Christmas and I also wish you everything you wish yourself for 2022. Cheers Diane

.. and the same back to you, dear Marie !
Sitting by the fire with a glass of wine sounds about as good as it gets to me!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Marie. We had warm weather but I had a sore throat which kept me away from family. I'll blog more about it later.
