Two windows

Through the front window, facing west, the sky is blue, not a cloud to distract from the brilliant colour. Through the eastern window, gray cloud has moved in and looks threatening, though it is too cold to snow. The demarcation of the weather fronts appears directly over our house and the blue or gray sky could spread either way. The gray could subsume the blue westward and bring bad weather. Or, the western clearing could spread eastward. Which way is the wind blowing?

There isn’t anything we can do about it. The circumstances are totally out of our control and we wait for events to unfold. Meanwhile, we go on with life and enjoy what is and make the effort not to worry about what could be.

Sometimes, it’s not about the weather.

LOL - if it's too cold to snow I'd say it definitely is all about the weather:)

We experienced two kinds of weather in different directions yesterday. Clear in Atlanta but the sky was dark and threatening as we made the drive home. So thankful that the rain/thunder held off until we were safely home!
Thank you for your kind comment this a.m. Blessings to you this weekend.

Your line about "make the effort not to worry about what could be" is right on, Marie. I spend a fair amount of time making that effort. The only power I have is to vote, and that's a very small thing in the scheme of things. Thank you for the thoughtful post. :-}

That sounds like some of the days in my life - beautiful one way and gray the other. Hahaha. Happy Easter.

I've often thought that more days out are ruined by bad weather forecasts than are ever spoiled by bad weather.

Nature likes to remind us how powerless we really are.

Absolutely Marie! The weather is indeed a fascinating phenomenon, but life is even more so ✨

Well, man can never control the weather, no matter how hard we try. We have to go with the flow.

Words of wisdom and experience. All you can do is enjoy each day as it comes. It was sunny here today and absolutely no rain.

Weather here at the moment seems to change quite quickly. Yesterday started with brooding skies, but by one in the afternoon blue skies had started taking over.
