The view from the bridge

A stream flows under the boardwalk into the harbour of Summerside, Prince Edward Island. One can pause on that bridge and look out to the harbour. Squirrels and birds stop there as well. While the setting doesn't change, the scene looks different throughout the year with colours indicative of the time.

The view from the bridge in June:

August view:

November:

January:

I love all of them. Which is your favourite?

What a very lovely montage over the seasons.

I love them all, too, but August, all that green is my favorite. :-)

All the pictures are lovely. We have such a huge range of seasons and weather here in Canada. Before I came to live in this country, I had no idea it would get so cold and so hot!!!

I loved seeing this in each season! Andrea

They are all wonderful views. Look at the green in August tho. I live in a Southern California November-land, but not the other views. :)

I can't make a choice; all are lovely.

Love them all. Here in the sweaty season I am leaning towards the last - but would happily see any of them.

It is pretty then, Jan.

The green is gorgeous, but the rust and white...

Joanne, I love the white, then again...

I cannot imagine the heat you experience, EC.

I'm strange, but I love the January picture. I love all the pictures really, but the January one was the one I love. Maybe its because I just love all the snow I am seeing around here right now, and I'm sad it is melting, lol!

Oh I couldn't pick a favourite, for every season has its own beauty. I admire people who take seasonal photos from one particular place, something I've wanted to do but never get around to.

I love the January one as well. Such white beauty in its own unique way.

Glad you found some other posts, baili.

Make the time to take the photos, Judith. It is so worth the time and effort.

Each one offers a look into the beauty of nature, I presume I would enjoy June if I was visiting. It looks like a great place for a walk.

Normally I would say Autumn would be my favorite, Marie, but the last scene with the snow took my breath away. WOW. I love that you did this because it really does show how the seasons change everything!

Marie Smith said...

Angela, the weather in early June is unpredictable but by late June it is usually great.

The seasons keep life interesting in this part of the world, Ginnie. Sometimes it is more "interesting" than we'd like.

Agreed!

Happy New Week!
