Gray
It was a gray November day at the beach, with a breeze off the water. We could see the geese further down the beach as we ate lunch and enjoyed the quiet of the area and the view. Nearby, a young gull had his lunch too, occasionally dipping his head below the surface as he floated around Seven Mile Bay, Prince Edward Island.

Very nice! It looks like it could be a B&W picture. :-)
Very beautiful gray ripples and a goose! He has a yellow bill? Pretty!
Cold in every pixel.
I'm wearing gray right now...ha! I think it is a good color for my age (59). I actually love gray days...esp. if they are windy. Your young gull sitting there all alone leaves time for thought! Andrea
Moody, monochromatic magic.
Love it.
I know. The shades of gray were lovely, Jan.
It was a beautiful bird, Tomoko.
Not so cold by Canadian standards, Joanne.
I wondered where his buddies were. I like gray too, Andrea.
Moody indeed, EC. It was beautiful in its gray way!
I have a difficult time with photos with no color. There is a culture that believes much true photographic art is captured with minimal color. Not sure that I agree with that, but it certainly is a skill I have not mastered.
I like the monochrome sometimes, Tabor. Usually, the more colour the better in my book though!
What are your temperatures now?
We are still running the A/C here.
Looking forward to some cooler temps.
I love the beach, and I enjoy your descriptive words here. Makes me want to get my toes in the sand. Lovely photo....
I love this photo, Marie! The grey, the mood, the water...fantastic capture! Thank you so much for sharing.
Made me feel quite chilly just looking at it and I've had quite enough of that recently lol
Great photo Marie - lots of roughness and texture in it - in a really good way:)

It is a beautiful 45 degrees F here today and sunny. We are headed for a hike and picnic. We are making the most of the good weather.
It was a great day at the beach, Linda.
It was a cool day but not cold by Canadian standards, Cathy. I loved watching that gull.
It looks like we were both having grey days! Sarah x
We were, Sarah. It can be great for photos though.
Great Picture. Gray days can be very restful.
They can be, Barbara. We've had many of them lately though.
