At the orchard

The apple orchard at Arlington Prince Edward Island is one of our favourite places for a family outing. Nothing beats the taste of fresh picked apples or the fun picking them with our grandchildren.

We have visited the orchard since before our first grandchild was born. However the real fun began with the birth of our granddaughter Sylvie, and continued with Caitlin and now Owen.

Simple pleasures have made great memories.

Darling pictures. I don't think I've ever picked fresh apples. Strawberries and blackberries and orange but not apples. I'm going to have to find an orchard and get the experience.

What kind of apples? The most delicious ones that are grown here are Honey Crisp. And I have a friend who has an orchard with these apples, yummy.

You got beautiful grandchildren!! Indeed orchards are a fun place to go with children. We had our favorite one in Iowa where we used to go when our kids were growing up. We took our granddaughter there last month. We also visited a pumpkin patch here in North Dakota. Did the children picked their own apples? Very pretty photos! Thanks for sharing.

Cute pictures. My folks used to like to go and pick apples and pick up freshly made apple cider. Was a thing for them, but that's been years ago. Thanks for your visit. I had a hard time getting to your blog. Please don't leave your google + page. I tried several links from there and it took me to posts that were like 2 years old. I thought you weren't blogging anymore and started to delete you, then refreshed and used the link I had for you in my blog log instead of the one you left with your comment and was able to get to your blog. Just use your blog link so I can visit you easier, please and thanks. Plus, I read the other day google+ is going to be deleted, but I don't remember when it's taking effect.
