If you live in eastern Canada, sometimes it feels like we get two seasons, spring and winter. On occasion, the summer does not arrive for the traditional summer months until late, or the autumn is cut short when the cold and snow set in early. However this year winter was late and autumn hung on until late December. Unusual!
This morning there is a scad of snow on the ground as the temperatures warm up from the minus teens with a wind chill in the minus twenties. Temperatures are going in the plus range later today, and finally rain. Meanwhile, Georgie, the golden retriever, loves rolling around in the fresh snow, like a small child who delights in the snow when all the parents see is work.
Winter is in the air and we can expect anything in Canada. Anyway, it's never boring!
