It’s not the traditional blue sky you think of when you hear the phrase. However, it was just as beautiful in its own way.
On our recent beach vacation, we had one rainy day which required indoor activities for the grandkids. The night before at low tide,
we were on the beach a few hours before sunset.
It was partly cloudy when we arrived
but as the darker clouds moved in, the colours around us changed.
It was one of those times when you just sit and watch the spectacle.

Great job, especially on the family shot.
Hello,
Wonderful photos from your visit to the beach. Love the family shot, the views of the beach, water and sky are beautiful. Wishing you a happy day!

i like the look of the clouds and i love a good rain storm!!
Love that second shot Marie. I agree, the spectacle of the ever changing sky at certain times of the year is a joy to behold ✨
Muy bonito todo! Espero verte pronto por mi blog! Feliz día! ♡♡♡
Love that family shot Marie! Beautiful scenery. People all over the world live in lovely places and forget to see the beauty. You seem to remember every day.
So lovely. That first can be a painting.
I like watching the rain clouds approach. Beautiful family and granddog photo.
That last shot is my favourite.
Stunning scenery, Marie. The skies and water change constantly and you captured its beauty. My favorite is the family standing down by the water, it's absolutely beautiful.
Lovely time, Marie. So glad you are able to do this. I too like you and your family at the low tide line.
Just magical.
I spend a lot of time watching the skyscapes - and am rarely disappointed.
I would have loved to watch along with you, but your pictures are a good substitute. Thanks, Marie! :-)
I am always watching the sky...love the way it changes through the day. That first shot has such a feeling to it. I can't explain it. But I love it...and love the second from the bottom.
Those pics are so beautiful! Have a lovely day ☺
I would definitely sit and watch that, Marie! I have always been drawn to lowering skies and storms.
Beautiful scenes as the clouds change. Watching the sky, wether at the beach or on the prairies can be so rewarding.
Much more character than a plain blue sky, love it. Have a good weekend, Diane
God's most beautiful painting in the sky over water at sunset or dawn. It fills my soul with joy and relaxes my shoulders as no massage can.
Oh sooo beautiful!!
Beautiful and lovely memories for you to share. Sarah x
